Many Locust Point Real Estate sites are rich with historical backgrounds.   The Fort McHenry National Monument is a fort that is star shaped and is known as the place that Francis Scott Key wrote “The Star Spangled Banner” during the War of 1812.  Each weekend in the summer you can see a re-enactment of the history that took place at the fort.  Latrobe Park is a park that began reconstruction in 2005 and houses soccer fields, new park lighting, a new playground, sidewalks, benches, basketball courts, and fencing.  Tide Point, which is a 15-acre, 400,00 sq. ft. location, is also becoming a very popular place in Locust Point for new business to locate.
