Our company has a large turnover in employees.  We are a manufacturing company and some people find out rather quickly that though they make a lot of money they easily get bored with the same routine.  Lately we have been having problems with new employees knowing what’s expected of them.  We notice them nodding off during training meetings.  We had a video production team come in and lend support.  The team created a video that was entertaining and got the points across we needed.  We noticed the future employees paying a lot better attention and have even seen our production rate increase.

The business office of my travel agency is right next to a Portland printing store.  My business has only been here for a few weeks and I have observed the busy traffic of people going in and out of the neighboring business establishment.  I learned that there will be a tradeshow to be held in Portland next month and many of those who will be participating in the event are having their tradeshow materials printed by the Portland printing store next door.

Some of the clients from next door have been trickling in into my travel agency and I have had a couple of bookings from them.  I guess being in the area for their tradeshow materials, those who have travel plans after the tradeshow were enticed to check the travel packages that my travel agency is offering.  Being next to a reputable printing store has its perks.

I have been working as a telemarketer for a long time now and really enjoy my job.  I was introduced to the job by a friend who said his company was hiring.  I was in need of a job and decided to come in for an interview.  I received a job offer a few days after my interview and have been a telemarketer ever since.  My friend showed me the long telemarketing lists that has all the names and numbers on them on my first day.  It’s a really nice job because those lists are endless which means there’s always something to do.
