Diabetic Foot affects the Circulation
The foot in those with diabetes is at increased risk for damage due to the nerve and circulation damage that happens in diabetes. When you say damage, this means that the individual who experiences it will likely find it hard to identify. So meaning, this damage would probably worsen without knowing you have one. Example from it is that you encounter a cut in the skin or pressure from an ill-fitting shoe or something as serious as an ankle sprain. As the damage is not detected it keeps on getting worse. Due to the circulation that has been affected thus healing are impaired and not enough nutrients getting through to the damaged tissue. The diabetic foot needs to be protected since it could get worst when the damage destroys further affecting organ.
