I was planning a week long vacation and it was definitely going to be a welcome break from my busy schedule. But I was recommended to get travel insurance quotes for my trip. Before then, I had never heard of travel insurance. So I jumped online and found several different companies offering similar coverage for different prices. I chose a coverage plan that wasn’t too expensive. It was a good idea, too, since half way through my trip something came up that required me to rush home. Luckily, because of the travel insurance, I no longer had to pay for the unused part of my trip. There’s no need to pay for things you won’t be doing.

Once we arrived at our hotel and I walked into our room, I thought this was a place that I never wanted to leave. There was a beautiful King size bed with a soft down comforter, a coffee maker and all of the amenities that anyone could possibly ask for. The front balcony of the La Fortuna Hotel room looked out at the volcano and even had a Jacuzzi that was for the both of us. It was all absolutely perfect right down to the sheets being so soft it was like sleeping on silk. It is a little piece of heaven.

My friend took meon a tour inside Matarangi Holiday Houses. I was surprised at how much room that they had inside of them. They even came with a dishwasher, cookware, and a outside hood BBQ on the deck. One of the rooms had bunk beds for the kids. I know as a child I loved my bunk bed. My favorite part was climbing up on my buck bed and being up high from everyone else. I even noticed that there was a clothesline outside to use. Where I live we don’t have clotheslines anymore, so that was very refreshing to see a clothesline again.

Shopping holidays are a very popular practise amongst women. While places like New York City and Milan seem like obvious choices, there are plenty of destinations off the beaten path that are sure to impress. One such place that has been selling and trading for hundreds of years is the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. It’s one of the world’s largest covered markets and has everything from jewellery, carpets, spices and clothing. Those who are serious shoppers may want to consider all inclusive holidays to Turkey. You’ll pay one price for all your flights, accommodation, meals and drinks, so whatever is left can be spent on shopping!

When I need to get out and about on my own I used to be able to jump into my car and go anywhere in New Zealand. Unfortunately, I had to sell my car to pay some bills. At the time, I thought it was the worst thing in my life. Soon I realized that I did not need to own a car, I could use a car rental New Zealand. I don’t have the expense of maintaining a car, but I still get to drive around when I really want to go somewhere. I always thought I had to own a car, now I am happy to rent.

I had no idea that there were even any other options for a vacation other than a hotel.  My parents told me that they have recently started staying at vacation rental homes rather than in hotels.  I was not sure what they meant.  They explained that instead of a hotel, they rent a home for the duration of their trip.  They like it much better than a hotel because of all of the benefits.  They also said that the biggest benefit is the comfort that a home brings over a cold hotel room.  They feel like they are more relaxed on their trip with this option.

Brighton Short Breaks applauses Brighton and Hove attesting its claim as the most Right On community in the this week with the fact that it is the first occurance a parliamentary election has witnessed an all-female list of campaigners.

20 years after Mrs Thatcher broke governmental history  by  the first ever Prime Minister the complaint that the vestibules of Westminster are still a masculine  hall  ring just as loudly as ever! So, Brighton and Hove’s full female  short list of Parliamentary nominees generates some boost to a prospective future transfer of soil in the sexuality proportion in the political power domain .

Being cited in The Argus , Fawcett Society chief executive Ceri Goddard said: “If all the candidates are women that is cause for celebration but also concern that it has taken until 2009, whereas all-male elections are still the norm.

“The voters if Brighton can be pleased that whom ever they elect they will be a step closer to closing the gender gap in parliament where currently less than 20% of our MP’s are women – less than Iraq, Afghanistan and Rwanda.”

‘Less than Iraq, Afghanistan and Rwanda……… ‘ – personally that peculiar assertion left me somewhat discomfited about the state of our governmental arena and curious as to the reasons for male domination above and beyond the foregone antecedency that men should have it completely their own way – and its a whole Pandoras box of discourse  that is better left for a different time .

But my intent here today is as – as always – to fly the flag for Brighton and Hove and present how forwards reckoning and politically mindful our city  is, and having  a ratio of men to women in parliament  more true of the population, is in my feeling, a stride in the true direction!

Choosing the right hotel is never easy. We all have specific needs and standards when searching for a hotel. We all want to have the best hotel that offers the lowest prices. When looking for a hotel in Israel, as in any country or city you visit, it is important to consider the location and how accessible it is to where you want to go and what you want to do. For instance, if you are in Tel Aviv, you should book a hotel that is near the shoreline and the main promenade because that is where all the hip and happening stuff are for tourists.

The other day I was talking to my sister about how I would love to go on one of the Egypt holidays that I always see advertised in travel magazines.  We talked about it a little bit more and then decided to visit a travel web site to see how much a trip like that would cost.  We were both very surprised at how affordable the trips to Egypt were and decided to go ahead and book ourselves a two week trip to visit there and now the only thing that we have got left to do before we leave is to tell our husbands that we are going to be leaving them to fend for themselves for a couple of weeks in the very near future.

My sister has just got engaged and she is in the process of planning her wedding. She could not decide on the location of the wedding, because she wants something that is not traditional. I told her that she could narrow her choices down by thinking of places that both he and she enjoys. The first thing that came to her mind was the beach. So, we went online and found a mobile wedding company that provides Destin Weddings. The only thing that she would have to do is get the wedding attire and marriage license, and they took care of everything else.
