When I got to my brother’s house the other day, I noticed that he had a really nice car sitting in the drive way.  I went inside, and I asked him when he had gotten the new car.  He told me that it was a rental, and he had gotten it for a great deal.  He said that he just searched for “car hire pretoria” on the web, and he found an Avis.  He called them up to see what they could do for him, and within a matter of minutes, he had a rental car that he could use around town.

I’m trying to work out the best way to approach booking my next holiday. I’ve been hearing mixed messages from both friends and colleagues at work and it’s turned into a bit of a debate. Some people are telling me that booking last minute is definitely the way forward – particularly if you’re not restricted by timings or destination. Others are telling me that the best deals on cheap hotels can be found if you book in advance. Apparently some agents are offering incredible early booking discounts at the moment. Both arguements make sense to me and we are living in strange times after all so perhaps you can save money both ways.
