There are numbers of different types of foot orthotics or foot supports. And they come in all different types of sizes and shapes.  Just like as feet come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, so do foot orthotics. As well as shapes and sizes, feet are also very different in how they function. So foot supports have to vary in how they affect foot function. There are lots of different design parameters for foot orthotics that its getting harder to keep on top of it all. One such design parameter is the DC Wedge design. Its purpose is to provide more force on the medial side of the foot. The DC wedge is indicated in those feet that need more force to change function.
