Last year, my Christmas party with my college friends, “The Sevens,” we fondly call our group, was the craziest.  In a ratio of about one to a thousand or maybe one to a hundred, I was one of those who received exactly the same gift he or she gave for the exchange gifts. I felt cheated… but of nobody. With that, however, I pledged to make simple handcrafted gifts for our party this year. A week before the party, I already finished making my gifts. The date came and I was excited. Just when I thought I was the only one who would probably like the idea of personalized gifts, to my and our big surprise, each of us received handcrafted gifts. Everyone was so happy. I’d love to think that we were still in one friendship boat this year because we are the same different persons yet we share one thought in common for our party gifts; the thought of making “handcrafted GIFTS” this Christmas or maybe starting this Christmas and beyond.
